western long horn in France

by MPI Traveler on September 15, 2011

Just heard from our friends Benny and Jan Morris who are  staying at Maison des Vingerons in Camargues. They called laughing  as they woke to see a herd of  Texas Longhorn cattle grazing just across from the vineyards.  It seems the breed is apparently quite  fascinating to the French, but hey they first came from Spain to Mexico and
then up to Texas.  Heaven help the  hapless travelers they meet on foot or dans  une voiture!

Take a look at the website westernlonghorn.fr
