Burger Madness

Tuesday in St. Martin we headed into Marigot for a walk around and a bite of lunch, but being St. Martin Day, a government holiday, there was not much open.  We decided to make a drive around the island and ended up in Philipsburg.

There were four giant cruise ships docked in the port, but the town was not super crowded – with the holiday, only restaurants were open, so I think many of the cruisers went on bus or boat tours of the island. Burger Madness 1

We walked along the boardwalk on Front Street and found Burger Madness…the name definitely fits!  The burgers are all quite interesting, crazy big and very good!  They have all kinds of meats, cheeses, toppings and are very reasonably priced.  Being on the Dutch side everything is US Dollars, which is nice.  Our server, Carlos, was great and took good care of us.

A fun place to eat and people watch, you won’t be bored watching the people on the beach or those sitting at the outside bar having a few too many strong cocktails!   Check them out next time you are in St. Martin.
