Maison des Vignerons: Saint Remy, France

The Maison des Vignerons is part of the Domaine de Saint
Remy Vineyard, a working vineyard, farm, gites and a polo field, ideally
situated in the famous Camargue region of southern France. The vast gardens
within St. Remy’s historic walls connect by pathways the 3 B & B’s ( St.
Remy, St. Louis and Maison des Vigneron), reception halls, wine production area,
swimming pool, a large outdoor grill area and a corral for rodeo events.

Maison des Vignerons (house of the wine workers) is a 400
year old stone 2 story house, beautifully restored in the fall 2009. The
comfortable 2200 sq ft is perfect for 1-3 couples or a family (sleeps up to 8).

The large open kitchen with its community seating at the
monastery table is warm and inviting. It is ideal for preparing your own French
meals with ingredients from the local markets or choosing to have estate
prepared meals arranged by the St Remy staff. A French or full breakfast can be
delivered every morning upon request.

Summer guests will enjoy the patio, swimming pool, barbeque
and picnic area in the gardens, while winter guests will congregate by the
large fireplaces in the kitchen and the salon.

The salon (living room) features a large fireplace, soft
leather sofa and chairs and many windows for added light and breeze. A premium
sound system plays CDs or your iPod. Just off of the salon  is  a
small bedroom and a half bath  next to the
laundry room.

Upstairs the master suite has a king bed, beautiful linens,
ample closets, flat screen TV ,a large sitting area and an air-conditioner. The
bath has a walk in shower and a double sink. Double glass doors open onto a
balcony that is perfect for enjoying the vineyards and gardens while having
coffee or afternoon glass of wine.

The guest wing has two large bedrooms that share a large
bath with a shower and bathtub. The first bedroom has a king bed and the second
bedroom is a dormer with three twin beds and nightstands ( or2 twins can be
made into a king bed).

There are ceiling fans throughout the house for summer
cooling and radiant heat in the winter.

Wine and olive oil tastings can be organized  by request.
